One of the most overlooked categories of water toxins is VOCs (volatile organic compounds). These chemicals enter drinking water through industrial pollution, fuel spills, and everyday manufacturing processes.
You won’t usually see VOCs clearly listed on basic water reports, yet they are surprisingly common in toxic water supplies.
From a health perspective, VOCs matter because they place a significant burden on your detoxification systems—particularly your liver. If you already experience fatigue, chemical sensitivity, or sluggish metabolism, exposure to VOCs in drinking water may be contributing more than you realise.
